Casio G Shock – June 2011 | New Releases

In the market for a sliver of sophistication without breaking the bank? Perhaps the June 2011 Collection from Casio G-Shock maybe of interest to you then. Among the 8 new timepieces to be available this month, 3 are from the anticipated Metallic Gold models, additions to the Black × Gold Series. Choices ranging from GA-110GB-1AJF with its popular large dial face, the classic GD-100GB-1JF, and GDF-100GB-1JF a technical heavyweight, each comes of a polished gold inlay on the dial face. With a contrast black trim (in shock absorbing composite) and strategically placed LED backlight, all complete a dramatic presentation.

However, if all that “bling” just isn’t your thing, G-Shock added 2 collaborative models, the GW-6900K-7JR and GW-9201KJ-9JR RISEMAN to benefit 2 environmental advocacy groups, EARTHWATCH and kurkku. Part of Love The Sea and The Earth Collection, both watches encompassed brilliant colorways, commemorative etching and special packaging. Portions of each sale will go to benefit both causes. On the technical front, all except the 3 Metallic Gold editions, have MULTI BAND 6 radio transceiver for automatic time adjustment via atomic clocks. With 6 transmission points along the Northern Hemisphere, its a clear advantage over the previous radio transceiver system. This was especially evident when the massive earthquake back in March damaged one of the antenna in Japan. All 8 G-Shock model for June 2011 will be available at G-Shock retail locations worldwide in the coming weeks.  Via Freshness Mag
